The 10 Principles of FeelGood® Architecture
We can gain maximum benefit from Nature in our buildings by constructing them according to the following principles:
- The walls of the building should be aligned with the cardinal directions;
- The main entrance should face East, so that the nourishing influence of the morning sun falls on the front door;
- The dimensions and proportions of the building should be calculated according to precise, ancient formulas that are harmonious with cosmic structures;
- The placement of rooms should be in accord with that quality of intelligence which is most lively in that part of the building;
- There should be a featured central point of silence or wholeness, that marks the heart of the building;
- The building should be symmetrically positioned on the site;
- The slope of the land should be favorable for the health of the inhabitants;
- Bodies of water near to the building should be located auspiciously;
- There should be free-flowing light, air and ventilation;
- The building should be constructed from non-toxic materials.
